(Please read carefully.  In order to participate in our sangha's events, you must be referred by a current sangha member OR interviewed by Fushin via phone, call her at 619-356-3353.  We also have a Facebook page: www.facebook/blueskyzendo.  Fushin needs your email to send RSVPs for each event.)

"We are a sacred order, bringing into being a harmonious and loving world through the practice of meditative, compassionate awareness and mindful stewardship." - Mission Statement, from our Hollow Bones Sutra Book

Meditate with us. Get your Zen on. Join us every Sunday at 10am in our centrally located Zendo for Morning Service followed by 30 minutes of seated meditation (zazen) and a dharma talk (a teaching).

On Tuesday evenings, we perform Evening Service and Lineage Chant with two meditations, and an opportunity for daisan (1:1 meeting with a priest.)

Our sangha (spiritual community) is small, with lots of opportunity for personal 1:1 interaction and a strong sense of community. We have Mondo Zen, group meditations, instruction on special Buddhist topics, Integral instruction, chanting, local retreats, and services.

OUR LARGER BUDDHIST ORDER HOLDS WORLDWIDE RETREATS. We offer shorter retreats in Southern California, and are planning short retreats in Mexico and Cuba. We speak Spanish, French and more.

Since 2009, Blue Sky Zen has been a branch of Hollow Bones (www.Mondozen.org), a non profit organization.

Fushin Reimyo, Rinzai Zen Priest in the Hollow Bones Order, is the founder of Blue Sky Zen. Other members in active standing in the sangha as of this update include Paula, Tetsugen, Ishu, Francois, Nicole, and Greg. We warmly welcome you, all colors of the human rainbow. We Stand with Standing Rock, and all that is good, beautiful and true, as an Integral sangha.                                                                                                           11/1/2016
