Ring in the new year with 2019’s first Bmore VR Meetup presented in partnership with MAVRIC.

On Wednesday, January 23 Bmore VR is returning with our open "Science Fair" layout, but with a twist! We will have our demos from great local companies showcasing their latest and greatest VR/AR experiences, but will also feature a guest speaker!

Experience our community's latest and greatest VR/AR projects from 2018 and 2019 and hear from Jesse McCulloch, the Program Manager at Microsoft and Ashley Alicea, an Evangelist for the Americas at Unity Technologies.

McCulloch is the Program Manager of the Mixed Reality Developer Ecosystem team at Microsoft and is HoloLens’ Head of Community. His passion for Mixed Reality and how it will change the world is unmatched and he makes it his mission to to help developers find success in this emerging Mixed Reality world.

We will also have a representative from Unity, the world’s most widely used real-time 3D development platform, to give an overview of Unity's AR Foundation and the latest updates on creating multi-platform handheld AR experiences. After ten years as an indie developer and organizer of events for fellow game creators, Ashley Alicea joined Unity as an Evangelist for the Americas. She now spends her days empowering creators across the western hemisphere with the knowledge and skills they need to create games, films, and interactive media. Her past experience includes Global Game Jam, IndieCade and Games For Change.
