We didn't play TI for a long, long time! Let's do it now!

Alright, the short of the game (people, you should add your own experiences too if you want!)

We played with the new expansion rules and a preset map for 5 players which is completely balanced for all players, which is a first for a 5 players game in TI, for me anyway.

We each had two natural expansions, one with two stars and another with a single star. Mecatol Rex was surrounded with somewhat lucrative stars.

The players: Asaf (Blue, Yin), Simon (Purple, Winnu), Manuel (Red, Muaat), Josh (Yellow, Hacan) and me (Green, Yssaril).

Eventually, the game went bananas, and you can get the rest of the details from the pictures. :)

Another thing that we noticed: originally, we thought the Muaat are highly unbalanced because they start off with the War Sun tech and a War Sun piece; however, as it turns out, they balance out because they have almost no expansion power. While the others expand quickly, they do not. Not to say they're weak; however, it does balance things out with them in the first few rounds.

Game ended after 7:30 hours, Simon won (obvious) being the only player not fighting (less obvious)

The fact that this game can be won in so many different ways makes it so addictive.

We played with the new objective cards: "I took over 3 planets this turn" - 1 VP, "I successfully invaded two planets with at least 1 Ground Force in them this turn" - 2 VP. There was much war at play. :)

I'm thinking of pre-setup for the map and races, downloading a pre-setup from some sites. What do you guys say?
