Are you looking for a place where you can chill, contemplate life and share your thoughts with a friendly gathering of creative and kindred souls? Well, you have found it.
Bohemian Cafe Society is an alternative culture, lifestyle and refuge for artists, writers, poets, philosophers, intellectuals and those who are considered on the fringe of society. You could perhaps consider it a type of cult. The Bohemian Cafe Society is a place where eclecticism is cherished and encouraged. It's an exotic and weird society where the unusual is adored and odd is normal. It attracts those who prefer to take the road not taken or less traveled by in any area of life. It's a place for dissidents, radical thinkers, visionaries, innovators, dreamers and doers. And last but not least, it's a place for those who consider themselves egalitarians and bohemians at heart. By the way, you don't have to drink coffee, Absinthe or wine to be a member of this group, but it's a plus if you do.
Oh, one more thing....did you know that the "Bohemian Cafe Society" is a code name for a radical and new egalitarian social movement that is waiting to happen? It's been a secret up until now. Ah ha! I bet that caught your attention, didn't it. Are the wheels spinning in your head yet? Yes? Good!
Our first motto is: "unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno" which is Latin for "one for all, all for one". Our second motto is: If there is no path to the destination , forge one.
We might meet once a week, once or twice a month on Wednesday or any day of the week in the evening or afternoon and occasionally we might meet in the mornings at various cafes in Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale or elsewhere. We could sometimes plan to go on outings together to see a play, concert, The Opera, an art film, museum exhibition, art gallery show, or whatever else meets our fancy, and an occasional private Soirée (cocktail party, dinner party, home concert or salon gathering) is certainly a possibility. These special outings, events and meetings could be arranged and hosted by any member of our meetup group.
