We will start at Martin Lake (about 7000’), just west of Bull Trout Lake and descend Warm Spring Creek, finishing at Warm Springs Creek Landing Strip (about 4800’); a distance of about 13.25 miles. The Hike is almost all downhill, except for about 470’ gain near the end. This is a well maintained trail. There will be water almost the entire route. We will leave vehicles near Warm Springs Creek Landing Strip, and take as many vehicles as required to Bull Trout Lake. After the hike, those who wish can drive the 6 mile dirt road almost to Grandjean for a soak in a natural hot spring, assuming the road is not closed for the season. Bring something for dinner under the stars. It’s about a 2 hour drive home from the hot springs.
