This Meetup repeats on the 4th Wednesday of every month
“This group is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian group for those interested in fellowship with people that enjoy the official neck wear of the state of Arizona, the Bola Tie. The Bola Tie is comfortable, unique, formal (or informal), and stylishly western; it became our official state neck wear when Governor Jack Williams signed House Bill 19 on April 22, 1971. The Bola Tie Society of Arizona was formed in Phoenix in 1966, and October 27th, 2015 will be our 49th anniversary. Visitors are welcome to attend our 11:30 am luncheon/meeting, held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 1318 North Cooper Road, Gilbert, AZ, 85233. All attendees and visitors should pay for their own buffet-style lunch at the front door, then find us in the east meeting room for open buffet, a bit of Arizona history, some western humor, a raffle, and a guest speaker. Our moderator is President Merrilee Edwards (602-330-3200); Vice-President is Maynard Doolittle (480-298-7307), and Secretary/Treasurer is Connie Fenwick (480-994-4008). If you subsequently decide to join The Bola Tie Society of Arizona, annual membership is $10.00. Join us!"
