What we're about

This group is for Women (Boomer Babes) turning 55 in 2019 and older who are interested in living healthfully, actively and adventurously during the third stage of life. If you're interested in living a more healthful and engaged life, building strong social connections, learning cutting edge strategies for living younger longer, and investigating activities you enjoy or you've thought would be fun to try this is the group for you.

This group is for you if:
* You like to hike in the Colorado foothills or always wanted to, but didn't know where to go and what to expect.
* You are a long-time hiker who is looking for more hiking buddies.
* Are you interested in biking on the many trails in the Denver metro area, but don't want to go alone.
* If you are looking for more friends and social outlets such as movies, theater, the symphony, travel; and maybe someone to talk to who knows and understands what it's like to be a Boomer Babe.

Loch Lake Trail via Glacier Gorge Trail

Colorado 93 & Colorado 170

The Loch Lake Trail via Glacier Gorge Trail is a 5.4 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Horses are also able to use this trail. Bring clothing layers, water, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch as we will take a lunch break at the top. Colorado weather is always unpredictable please check in the morning for cancellation due to inclement weather. Important Note: This is a participate at your own risk group! Wine Tasting ~ Italian Style

Spero Winery is a family run operation just west of Federal Blvd on 64th Avenue. The wine is fantastic and the winemaker owners are a wonderful couple. The tasting is free and the wine is under priced for the "reserve" quality that they offer. Trust me, if you like good wine, you will love this!

White Ranch West

Hwy 93 & Golden Gate Canyon Road

White Ranch is located near Golden, Colorado and features beautiful wild flowers and has extensive trails; we'll hike about 6 miles. The trails are primarily used for hiking, trail running, horses, and mountain biking and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Bring lunch and we'll stop half-way for a break. Bring clothing layers, water, sunscreen, and a snack as we will take a short break halfway through. Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride

Willow Creek Falls via South Willow Creek is a 6.3 mile out and back trail located near Silverthorne, Colorado that features a waterfall. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips. Bring clothing layers, water, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch as we will take a lunch break at the top.
