Welcome to the JS Book Club!

We are committed to improving our coding skills every week and will be following along with "Eloquent JavaScript: A Modern Introduction to Programming" by Marijn Haverbeke. Join us for a low-key discussion group, open to anyone!

Get your free copy of Eloquent JavaScript: https://eloquentjavascript.net

Check out our repo: https://github.com/BootcampersCollective/js-book-club

We'll be going over the Introduction and Chapters 1-3 of Eloquent JavaScript. Please try to read it beforehand, and bring any questions, comments, and topics with you. This is very open! Feel free to compare between versions, to other languages, to other fields; talk about how something works under the hood; even write a rap about `let` vs `const` (like my Intro to CS professor did about recursion). Anything is fair game!

If you don't get a chance to read... that's fine, come anyway! We're all busy people, and we certainly don't want anyone to feel bad for that.

Free covered parking is available in the building. The entrance is on the Washington St side. Please mind your route: there are some road closures in Five Points and RiNo.

Public Transit

- The L train stops at 27th St & Welton Station (right across the street).
- The 43 bus stops at California St & 27th St (1 block northwest) or Stout St & 27th St (2 blocks northwest).
- The 12 and 28 buses stop at Downing St & 26th Ave (a few blocks east).
