Boskone is a regional SF convention run by NESFA. Boskone is held at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston (right next door to the BCEC) every February. Boskone's attendees come from all over the world, and are comprised of editors, authors, artists, gamers, and filkers. Boskone offers the following attractions: A consuite to end all consuites, you never know who you're going to run into while grabbing a soda or a cookie. Could be your favorite author or artist. A world class art show featuring the best science fiction, fantasy, and horror art from all over the world. KKs, otherwise known as KaffeeKlashes, where you can sit down with an author and discuss a book or other things. Please note that you do have to sign up for these and there may be a cost. Autograph sessions with some of the authors. A dealer's room featuring books, jewelry, figurines, t-shirts, and more. An anime/film room featuring some old favorites as well as some movies so horrible you can't help but laugh. A game room to satisfy all. The library of games will look familiar to you if you attended Arisia. They're from the same club. The video games at Boskone are located in the game room, and Boskone features a PS3, 360, Wii, Gamecube, Sega Genesis, and an Atari 2600 (you get an award if you can pry Bill away from River Raid ^_^). http://www.nesfa.org/boskone for more details or www.nesfa.org to find out more about the club running it.
