[Turkey] Celebrate Turkish Independence Day

"AIC Center with several local Turkish cultural organizations celebrate Turkish Independence Day on Oct 29th (1923) with Turkish food, music and art of Turkey. The AIC's monthly Intercultural Mixer series brings Turkish heritage to the AIC Center in Boston's chic Back Bay neighborhood." I (Mariko) have been to Turkey many times and love Turkish music, food, history and its whole culture. I think you can appreciate its rich culture by participating this celebration. Remember Atatürk, the Father of modern Turkey, who saved Turkey after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire by mainly European Allies of World War I. Turkey is still holding strong in the current storm of the Arab Spring as a democratic country.
