RE: [Boston-Culture-Club] Reggae Brunch at West End Johnnies 5/20, 1PM

Hi Kenny,

I can’t join you at West End Johnnies because I have a 1st date this Sunday in Providence RI with a woman named Barbara Longhi who I met on OkCupid. She lives in New Canaan CT, about 175 miles and 3 hours away from me, and we’ve been communicating very often via phone. We’ve already spoken for dozens of hours on the phone.

This all sounds crazy, I know, but I’m at least going to meet her because she and I have a lot in common, we interact extremely well with one another and have developed a very strong connection, and she’s particularly easy on the eyes, or so it would appear in photos. Naturally, a direct meeting will either dispel or reinforce my current view, both of her Personality & Character, as well as her Appearance

This Wednesday night, I also have a 3rd date with another woman named Barbara Goldberg who I met on POF (Plenty of Fish) who lives very nearby in Stoneham. We’ve already had a 2-hour coffee date, a 2-hour dinner date, and our 3rd date will involve talking for an hour, then playing tennis for an hour. Barbara and I also have very good commonality and connection, and she’s also trim relatively good looking.

How’s dating going for you lately?

Hello Culture Lovers,

I wanted to let you know about a meetup I am organizing for the Boston World Music Meetup Group, where we will be going to West End Johnnies this Sunday 5/20 at 1PM for their Reggae Brunch which has been a great event in the past. The music and food has been great! The band playing is The Conscious Band, and they do nice covers of classic reggae tunes.

I have a table reservation for 10, and right now there are 6 spots open. I'm not making it a Culture Club meetup, because I think it would make it complicated to manage the 10 person limit across 2 groups. So you're welcome to join us.

Check out the event here:

Feel free to join the group if not a member, and RSVP if interested.
