A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience's Research
Naomi Nuta, VP of Client Service at Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience (http://www.nielsen.com/us/en/solutions/capabilities/consumer-neuroscience.html), will provide an overview of the company's history, background & perspective on market research. Further, Naomi will share several case studies that demonstrate how neuromarketing tools can be applied to:
• Measure consumer experiences with digital content and/or advertising on multiple platforms
• Website design & UX
• Natural experiences exploring digital environments (e.g., social media platforms)
Naomi helps clients to push the envelope on 100 years of established market research practices, using research insights that inform impactful business decisions. Naomi has spent the past decade specializing in advertising, consumer messaging and brand positioning research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Her work measuring biometrics led to a first place win, with MTV Networks and Spike TV, in the 2011 Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing Insights Conference Case Study Competition.

Stacey Dyer, Creative Strategist at iZotope (https://www.izotope.com/), will teach you how $50 can be used to reveal who wants to buy your product or service, where they are, and what makes them want to buy. In her presentation, Stacey will cover:
• The market research that validates early adopters, value proposition, and messaging resonance through four $50 Facebook ad tests
• The benefits of this type of testing prior to launching a product/service
• How to formulate goals and build ad experiments
• Methods for measuring results
Stacey is a mentoring, marketing, and entrepreneurial renaissance woman. She is a creative strategist at work, and an avid runner, designer, vocalist, and writer for play. Currently the liaison between product and marketing for the Spire brand at iZotope, Stacey pushes the team to go beyond their usual boundaries through lean practices, as well as process discovery and customer validation. She previously served as iZotope's Product Design Director, and acted in the capacity of Creative Director for brands such as Force Factor, Oliva Cigars, Shields MRI, and Kidcity Children's Museum.
