Discussion and Debate: Legacy Code vs. Continuous Release -- Can It Be Done Safely? What's Your Experience? What's Your Advice?

A late trend in software development is continuous release, even with fixes to legacy code. Does this practice make your blood boil? Do you know how to do it safely? How can you be sure changes have been tested thoroughly? What advice do you have?

This month, Boston SPIN opens the floor to its members to share their thoughts, opinions and experiences about continuous release of fixes and enhancements to legacy code.

We'll be meeting at 7pm on Monday, November 12 at Microsoft in Kendall Square in Cambridge. There's limited parking on Memorial Drive and other nearby streets. Parking at Alewife or other MBTA parking lot and using the T is recommended.

If you can't make it to Microsoft, join by live feed that will allow you to participate in the discussion and debate from a remote location.
