Bearded Beer Geeks Tips & Tricks
Edson Gebo, avid craft beer geek, will show a variety of tips & tricks that will help your workflow & get you to think outside the box in modeling with SOLIDWORKS. This session finishes with an interesting, engaging, and philosophical view of “The Evolution of Design." Attendees will learn a variety of tips & tricks from Ed's many years using SOLIDWORKS to enhance their own workflow. If it helped him, it will help you!
Master Modeling Techniques for Plastic Part Design
When designing form-driven products, we may want to initially design a single, Master part. From the Master Model, we separate out the individual components. The beauty of this technique is any changes made to the Master will propagate to the child components, speeding up our design process. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the Master Modeling and Hybrid Modeling techniques; and will learn the SOLIDWORKS tools available for plastic product design that will streamline workflows and speed up the design process.
Laura Nickerson is an Application Engineer with Fisher Unitech. She has 17 years of experience in the consumer appliance industry working as an industrial designer and mechanical designer. Laura is detail-oriented, a problem solver, and is listed as co-inventor in over 40 patents.
