Are you a new, intermediate, or experienced R user?

I am new to R ... coming from SAS... Trained on pdq

What types of applications do you use R for? (Biostatistics, Finance, Teaching, etc.)

Software Performance and automation of large amounts of performance and KPI data

What topics/applications are you interested in exploring more?

"Even a cave man can use it" Be able to provide the R platform that allows very sophisticated analysts to drill in , drill down on data... Identify self-similiar patterns ...and identify correlations ..and efficiency identify the bottleneck or constraint and be able to predict the the impact$$ if a change were to be made... This scientific/socratic method platform could allow naturaul language queries (like mathetica) and deliver a real-time action dashboard that can deliver recommendations and next actions... The M&M test is that the confidence in the results are high enough that if it were to log a defect/bug that a developer would trust that the data is repeatable and reproducable... and utilimately transferable to make an impact on either operating expense, inventory or throughput.

I am storage performance engineer working for dell/equallogic... I am developing an R statistical and R/PDQ solution that enables users to (stage->aggregrate->analyze->report) on Iometer data... The approach is blend of Method-R , SAS, TOC.
