7:00-7:35pm: Legal & IP Issues for Augmented Reality
Luke Silva and Shabbi Khan from Foley & Lardner will be presenting on legal issues related to AR. The presentation will include an overview of recent AR litigation, intellectual property issues related to AR, and other legal concerns that will arise as AR continues to proliferate. Shabbi and Luke will also be discussing some recent patent filings of large companies in the AR space, which will provide a glimpse into where these companies are heading with their technology.

Rajeev Surati, PhD
-Rajeev Surati is a mentor at the MIT Play Labs accelerator program, did his undergraduate through PhD at MIT, and has founded and sold several companies: Richard Dulude
-Richard runs Underscore's investment process and has led some of the firm's emerging technology seed investments in Blockchain, AR/VR and AI/ML.
-Bob Borges is an Investment Manager at Nauta Capital in Boston, where he focuses on originating, evaluating, executing, and managing investments.
