Volunteer at the Art Expo at the Prudential Center
This is an volunteer opportunity to help at an art event to features 50 artists who have experienced homelessness in the Boston area. You'll be working with many others to help set up the event before the official opening at 10:00 am on May 5th. All volunteers get coffee and bagels for breakfast, a box lunch at about 11:30 am and a t-shirt. One lucky volunteer will also win 2 tickets to the May 27th (Sunday) Boston Calling Music Festival. On Sunday, May 6th, the Expo continues for all artists and you can still apply to show and sell. To view all the rules and information about both events at If you'd like to volunteer other than May 5th, 9 am - 12:00pm, you can complete this form: Here's more about this Art Expo Weekend event; On May 5 + 6, Unbound Visual Arts (UVA) is very excited to be presenting the annual City Heart Show and the Unbound Visual Arts Expo inside the Prudential Center’s Huntington Arcade on Saturday May 5th and Sunday, May 6th, 2018. This arts and crafts weekend will have 50 artists each day, live music, a family friendly community art making project, and artist demonstrations. The Prudential Center is New England's #1 shopping & dining destination features over 75 shops & restaurants. It's located in Boston's historic Back Bay. This event will run from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th and 11:00 am - 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 6th. Both are official #ArtWeekMA events. Saturday is the annual City Heart Show and reserved for artists involved with art programs run by Common Art/Common Cathedral, St. Francis House, Boston, and Women's Lunch Place, Sunday is for all UVA members, current or new. Financial and programmatic support for City Heart is from Common Art/Common Cathedral, Saint Francis House, and Women's Lunch Place. Financial support for City Heart is from the Brookline Commission for the Arts and the Berkshire Bank Foundation. Financial Support for both events is from the Boston Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council.A Special thanks to the Prudential Center Boston for once again opening up their facilities.
