We will not be meeting in May. The next meetup will be on June 8th. For the last two meetups we learned how to create a character using "box modelling." In June, Ezra Cove, a 3D artist and teacher, will show us how to create a character using two versions of Blender: 2.79 and 2.80. First, we will start in 2.80, creating a base mesh with the Skin modifier; next, we will refine the character by sculpting with Dyntopo; finally, we will retopologize in 2.79 to create the production mesh using Retopoflow. You must download and install Retopoflow (for 2.79) and Blender 2.80 before the meetup.
