Anniversary Party/Meeting for Both the Boston Investor's Group and Boston IBD. Please RSVP for only one group.

6:30 – 7:30: Pot Luck Reception and Networking

7:30: Market Talk and Stock Picks

Please bring food - main dishes, sandwiches, veggies, munchies desserts, drinks, cups, plates or ice! You may bring wine or champagne if you like. We will use the first hour of the meeting to celebrate our sixteenth anniversary. We will eat in the lounge area outside Room 335. Use the time to network, talk with your fellow traders and introduce yourself to some of the members you haven't yet met. Please fill out a name tag and wear it. For the "serious" part of the meeting, we will have a brief market talk and stock picks.

I will be passing the hat (asking for contributions) at the meeting. Last year, contributions didn't cover our Meetup and other expenses. If you like what we do, if you've made money from what you've learned at the Boston Investors group and Boston IBD Group, please contribute. If you'd rather contribute online, here is the link https://secure.meetup.com/BostonIBD/contribute/ . Thank you. Enough said.

Market Talk, Discussion and Stock Picks by Mike Kinkead, John Pocorobba, and Aaron Blank

We’ll discuss the current market outlook for investing and trading. The economic and political uncertainty worldwide present unique risks and opportunities in the global financial markets. With constant uncertainty, it can be difficult for investors to navigate through the choppy investment landscape which is news driven. Then participants can ask questions and discuss stock tickers that interest them.

If you have a friend you talk stocks with, bring them with you! Food or drinks are not allowed in any MIT meeting room. We strongly urge each person to make his or her own decisions about investing their money. Investment ideas and recommendations made during our meetings and in our online dialogs bear no liability by anyone. This is a free and open meeting. No membership is required, but please RSVP.

PARKING: Note that the address for the Tang Center, MIT’s building E51, is 70 Memorial Drive, but the entrance is at 2 Amherst Street. You can park behind the building, or you may find street parking. See map: http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=E51
