Boston has a great local music scene and this is a great way to enjoy it!
Are you a musician? In a band? Let us know when you're playing. Suggest a Meetup and I'll share it with the group. If you're going to see a show and want some friends, suggest a meetup for that too. Be sure to include the date, time, location and description.
Join us for a night of cool tunes, classic cocktails, and inspired art! Enjoy a drink and listen to a live jazz performance by the Patrick McGee Quintet while you explore the iconic black-and-white photographs in Larry Fink: Primal Empathy. As a special treat, Larry Fink himself will play harmonica with the band! When you're feeling creative, have fun with related art-making activities for all ages.
Ticket includes one complimentary drink ticket, live music, access to our special exhibitions, art-making activities, and snacks. Additional drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets for this event are nonrefundable.
About the Patrick McGee Quintet
A graduate of Manhattan School of Music, Patrick is a composer and saxophonist grounded in the music of Maurice Ravel, John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, and the sounds of nature he grew up surrounded by. The Patrick McGee Quintet has been exploring jazz repertory and original music with an eye towards honesty and humanity. They believe that the frequencies are the echoes of memories, and have the ability to affect thought patterns and bring people closer together.
The event takes place in the exhibition galleries located in the brick Museum building. Please enter through the front door by the parking lot and check in at the lobby front desk. You can then take the stairs or elevator to the third floor.
