Guest Speaker Presentation -
public relations director
http://www.growsocially.com @loucimaglia (http://twitter.com/loucimaglia)
(* You may recall we rescheduled speaker Lou from last month)
21st century public relations, and how once traditional PR methods are now all a part of an SEO plan. Blogging, customer interaction and more are all parts of smart, organic SEO. Spreading content across various channels, by way of guest posting, back links, referrals, and positioning oneself as an expert are all necessary to being found on search engines. Additionally, creating content is one of the hottest topics in marketing right now. It is a double-edged sword.
First and foremost, no marketer wants to create content that isn't seen. Writing with SEO in mind is key. However, how does one balance that with writing for a human audience that still drives interaction and prospective sales?
Dedicated to his craft with his eyes always looking forward, Lou is recent graduate of Westfield State University with a BA in Public and Corporate Communication.
Currently, Lou is the public relations director for Grow Socially, Inc., an online marketing and consulting firm in Wilmington, Massachusetts. He writes creative, insightful blogs and press releases on industry trends that drive traffic to the Grow Socially site and bolster the company's inbound marketing efforts and search engine optimization.
Lou also has a strong background in social media and mobile marketing strategy, two progressive and rapidly expanding fields.
He is an accomplished speaker on many topics, including social media, higher education, and content marketing.
