• What we'll do
This is the second in a series of workshops on PICK & PLUCK to prepare you to join a ukulele orchestra and/or get more out of your ukulele besides strumming and singing. Plucking the individual strings gives a completely different feel from strumming as accompaniment.
To play the riffs that often define a song, you will need to know how to pick and pluck and how to read tabs and notations.
Please RSVP and pay event host $30 via Venmo @analyticalq or Zelle or Paypal ($31.50 - option US dollars) to receive material for the workshop by e-mail. Doors open at 12:45 pm so you can get tuned up and ready to go.
The session will be video recorded for playback for private viewing by participants only.
This is a unique opportunity to play music in what was the oldest chocolate factory in America. The Walter Baker Building is home to working artists. The Common Room contains a temporary exhibit launched from the annual Holiday Stroll.
