Habitat for Humanity Braintree Area LPC Monthly Community Meeting!

Please join Boston Volunteers and members of the Braintree Area Community as we gather for Habitat for Humanity's Braintree Area Local Partnership Committee (LPC) Monthly Community Meeting!  We have built 4 homes in Braintree and have organized a Local Partnership Committee (LPC) in anticipation of another Braintree or local build in the Braintree area (which includes Holbrook, Quincy, Randolph and Weymouth).  The BALPC meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 7-8:30pm @ 74 Pond Street, Braintree.

Our new LPC Chair, Sandy, is ready to ramp up the charge as we continue our land search.  We have several fundraising initiatives underway and are seeking a Secretary, Treasurer, Outreach Coordinator, and Fundraising Coordinator for our LPC.

We will spend some time at tonight's Community Meeting discussing various aspects of the LPC, including but not limited to Fundraising, Outreach, Faith Relations, Land/Site Search and more.  Please join us to meet your Leadership Team, Committee Members and Neighbors at our monthly Community Meeting!

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want some hands-on experience with Habitat for Humanity, even if not actually lifting a hammer to physically build a home for a family. (Although being an active member of the LPC gives you a greater chance of being able to swing a hammer if you want to do so.)  The Local Partnership Committee (LPC) participates in lots of behind the scenes activities and brings the community together. This is a great way to utilize your skills, meet neighbors, develop friendships, and help spread the word about Habitat for Humanity as we work together to bring a local family into homeownership.

Please join us as we learn more about Habitat for Humanity and each other.

Please RSVP Yes only if you are at least 98% sure you will be attending.  If you are unable to attend but want to learn more and/or be added to the email list please email your contact information (name, email, town) to the email address listed below.  Please be advised there is no need to RSVP No if you are unable to attend.
