Hi Boston Volunteers,

Here’s the Scoop: Boston Volunteers Needed from 12:30-5pm
Please review all the FunFest volunteer positions listed below and email me at [masked] if you’d like to help (in addition to your RSVP through Boston Volunteers). You will be assigned to your role on a first come, first served basis. Please include the following information in your email response to me:

- Your full name (first and last)
- Your email address for confirmation and email reminder purposes
- Preferred volunteer positions (top 3 in order of preference)
- Preferred shift on Saturday, July 13: 7-10am (set-up only), 12:30-5pm

*Volunteers must be 21+ years of age to be a character assistant.

Character Photo Op Line Manager (9:30am-1pm or 12:30-5pm)

Prize Wheel
Think "Wheel of Fortune" without having to guess words and phrases. Instead, volunteers will encourage guests to simply spin the prize wheel for a chance to win a great prize. This is a popular activity with the crowd so volunteers are needed to oversee wheel spinning, manage the line, distribute prizes and collect email addresses.

Sensory-Friendly Area Volunteer
*Volunteers with previous experience working with sensory-impacted individuals preferred.
This year, FunFest includes a sensory-friendly area inside our studios catering to guests with special needs. Upon arrival, guests will be provided a colorized map to orient them to three unique stations: (1) slime making station; (2) quiet space; and (3) a self-directed space where guests can read, relax or color. Guests will also be able to sample ice cream.
Positions/Shifts: Self-Directed Reading Space (12:30-5pm), Slime Activity (12:30-5pm); Registration (12:15-5pm), Greeter (12:15-5pm)

This is going to be a great event but your support is crucial. Boston Volunteers help us put the “fun” in FunFest!
