Spreading Cheer with Christmas Caroling in Harvard Square!

Happy Holidays! Christmas is fast approaching, so we will be getting into the holiday spirit by singing our favorite Christmas Carols at Harvard Square!* This is a holiday tradition I have enjoyed for many years, but moving to Boston a year ago, I found no public caroling groups in the Boston area. So let's make one!

Carols we will sing include:

"We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Deck the Halls," "Jingle Bells," "O Christmas Tree," "Oh, Holy Night," and more!

Don't be shy if you have little or no experience singing or singing in public!
1. We will be in a big group so any individual voice will not stand out.
2. There will be passers-by that will stop to enjoy, but no intimidating "audience."
3. We will do some practice runs before getting into it.

Preparation:
-Group leaders will have sheet music with lyrics available, so you just need to show up.
-Dress warmly--we can take coffee/hot cocoa/cider breaks as needed at a nearby cafe.
-Wearing festive attire is optional but would be fun.

*Exact singing spot TBD depending on size of group, etc. Brattle Square and Harvard Yard are likely options, both in the Harvard Square area.

WE WILL BE MEETING AT THE T STATION AT THE BASE OF THE FIRST SET OF STAIRS COMING DOWN FROM THE OUTSIDE (SO THAT WE CAN BE WARM WHILE WAITING FOR EVERYONE). WE WILL WAIT FOR ABOUT 10 MIN, AND THEN CHECK IF ANYONE IS WAITING JUST OUTSIDE THE T STATION (OUTDOORS)--SO IF YOU CANNOT FIND US, JUST WAIT OUTSIDE THE MAIN HARVARD SQUARE T STATION (THE OPEN CONCRETE AREA), AND WE WILL FIND YOU THERE. BUT BE ON TIME! THANKS!

I CAN BE REACHED AT[masked] IF ANY ISSUES ARISE.
