That famous picture resurfaces! Sharon(in Red) from the Red Cross Food Pantry was very "delighted" with Corey's volunteering skills.

What can I say? She OBVIOUSLY has great taste and CERTAINLY recognizes a quality volunteer when she sees one. Oh wait - do I seem to also remember that she said that I had a nice smile AND that I had a nice aura? Oh yeah, she did. [Bear with me folks, as I ride this rare and fleeting moment of recognition for all it is worth.] And do I also seem to recall her saying something special was going to happen to me? Yeah, that seems to ring a bell too. [Ok, I'll stop. Even I am becoming nauseated.] I keep telling folks I meet, "You should come do some volunteering; it's a pretty good time and you never know what'll happen!" A picture truly is worth a thousand words!

Why must you dash my over-exaggerated and hyper-imaginary hopes on the jagged rocks of reality? You are soooooo cruel! [Can't a guy dream?!] And just so you know, I took my folks to a Bluegrass concert in Lexington that night. They liked it so much they literally cried at how beautiful the music was. [Point for Corey.] Oh wait - who is going with his folks to see Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers play WITH the B.S.O. this Thursday night? Yep - this guy. [Another point for Corey.] Now I would have invited you to join us for such a boundary-smashing and genre-defying evening of Comedy/Bluegrass/Classical Music, but since you are always being so MEAN to me, you will miss out! (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-hah) If you are NICE to me at the next volunteer event, I MIGHT consider introducing you to the world of Bluegrass. [Corey - 2; Nagina - 0] ;-)
