The value of Business Intelligence depends greatly on the quality of the data used. The source information often needs to be prepared and cleansed. It also may need to be reviewed by subject matter experts.

In this meeting we will discuss best practices for data preparation, data quality, and data stewardship.

We will also use Talend solutions to illustrate putting these best practices into effect.

Jon Day has worked in IT for over 25 years in a variety of roles. These roles have included system management, application development, and technical sales. For the last 18 years he has worked in database related sales, most recently at Netezza, IBM, MariaDB, and Talend. He has sold both commercial and open source solutions with a focus on security, data management, data integration, and database server technology.
