• 3 Mile Run - Mill Creek Town Center

    Starbuck's at the Town Center

My schedule has been a bit hectic, so my apologies on not posting any runs recently!! Let's meet at the Mill Creek Town Center Starbucks at 7:30 in the morning (the one that's next to Central Market) and head north on the North Creek Trail and go until we arrive to the track field then loop back. https://www.traillink.com/trail/north-creek-trail/ I'm a slow runner, so if you're a bit past 7:30, then feel free to catch up! My yellow lab might be in tow - feel free to bring your four-legged (or 2 legged) friend as well!

Sun is in the forecast for the weekend, spring is around the corner, and it's getting lighter earlier, so a run sounds like a good start to the weekend. • Rhein Haus Meet n' Greet

    Rhein Haus Seattle

This Friday night, I'm heading down to the Rhein House in Seattle with my sister to celebrate turning another year older, and thought it'd be fun to extend the invitation to you guys. There are a lot of people in this group I have yet to meet, and am hoping to! For all you Eastsiders who never leave the vicinity (generally, this is me), come hang out in Seattle. If you don't know anyone, I'll be right there with you! I'm sorry so last minute, but I'm generally terrible at planning things in advance :) Come grab a beer, play some bocce/ shuffleboard, and meet some new people. Let's have a quality Friday night on the town. I hope to see you there!

  • 3.6 Mile Run - Kirkland - Heritage Park to Carillon Point

Hey guys! Let's mix it up and try someplace new! And I am bringing my yellow-haired lab compadre this time - if you have a pup, feel free to bring them a well! :) I was thinking of meeting at Heritage Park (you won't have to pay to park here) and running down along the water to Carillon Point and back. The French Bakery and a few really choice coffee shops are in the neighborhood, and if anyone is game, could stop by one of these after the run. As for the run, I'm a slow runner, but welcome runners of all levels. If you're only wanting to run a few miles, you're welcome to join for a portion of the run as well. Looking forward to seeing you then!

  • 4.8 Mile Run - Bothell Landing to Woodinville

    Bothell Landing Amphitheater

Hey guys! Let's get another run in! And I might bring my yellow lab this time - if you have a pup, feel free to bring them a well! :) I've also been thinking of setting up a group cooking class; if I hear back from more than 5 people on this, I'll work out all the details! If you're interested in the cooking class, please comment below and let me know if you have any food allergies/ foods you absolutely will not eat. As for the run, I'm a slow runner, but welcome runners of all levels. If you're only wanting to run a few miles, you're welcome to join for a portion of the run as well. • 4.8 Mile Run - Bothell Landing to Woodinville

    Bothell Landing Amphitheater

Hey guys! It's been a while! Does anyone want to do a run from Bothell Landing to the Wilmot Gateway Park in a couple of weekends? And maybe grab a coffee/ breakfast afterwards? I've also been thinking of setting up a group cooking class. I was thinking we could get together and cook about 3 entrees, share a meal, and you get to take home leftovers. I think it'd be fun! The goal is to create low-cost, healthy meals and meet some cool people along the way. If you have no cooking skills...come and learn! I haven't worked out the cost logistics yet, and the class will most likely be held in Bothell, but wanted to see if there'd be enough interest. If I hear back from more than 5 people on this, I'll work out all the details! If you're interested in the cooking class, please comment below and let me know if you have any food allergies/ foods you absolutely will not eat. • Bothell Underground Beer Festival 2018

    Bothell City Hall

Guys and gals, I FINISHED my marathon! It wasn't pretty, but I finished. I'd like to thank those of you who partook in the group runs - it was so fun meeting all of ya'll and I'm grateful you took time to try out this group! I'd like to celebrate with those of you who have participated in group runs (first-timers are welcome too!). The event goes for 6 hours, but don't foresee myself staying that long. I'll be there close to noon and maybe I'll grab a bite to eat afterwards at something nearby (others are welcome to partake in this as well, as drinking on an empty stomach never bodes well). I'll wear/ bring my bright yellow jacket - can't miss it! Come out, drink some good beer, and meet some of your fellow meetup buds. I can't wait to see ya'll there! Cost of the event is $30 - feel free to come check it out: http://bothellchamberwa.chambermaster.com/events/details/bothell-underground-beer-festival-2018-13716
