What are some of your favorite games?

Railroad games (like Eurorails), "modified" classics (like Solarquest"), and "golden oldies" (like Cosmic Encounter). I have about 30 two-players games -- which are loads of fun to play along-side long games, between turns.

What games are you most interested in learning?

Iluminati, Diplomacy

Introduction

I used to run a games night for the Boulder chapter of a national club. I have about sixty games at home -- just can't host. I am a fan of railroad games and board games with rules that takes less than 30 minutes to explain :-)

What Avery is saying about this Meetup Group

(From 2010 at Bansi's).... For a first-time experience playing with complete strangers, I felt right at home, right away. I look forward to sharing/re-learning some of my games, and learning lots of others. (From New Year's Eve 2013).... Really a great bunch of people, a very nice way to ring in the new year!
