What we're about

You are invited to any of our free public informational seminars. Talk with a collaboratively-trained divorce attorney, mediator, communication specialist, and/or financial professional to get your questions about divorce answered in a small, informal, comfortable setting.

Seminars are held the first (non-holiday) Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Seminars are held at 3775 Iris Avenue, Suite # 5, Boulder CO 80301 No RSVP necessary.

You do not need to be a member of this Meetup Group to attend our Free Monthly Informational Seminars.

The Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Boulder County (http://www.collaborativedivorceboulder.org/) is a Multidisciplinary group of professionals working together to help divorcing families constructively work through their divorce process and reach agreement without going to court.

Collaborative Divorce is a needs and goals focused process which allows you to direct the outcome of your divorce: financially, as parents, in regards to your home, and your future interactions.

Our group is dedicated to supporting and empowering families in transition through the use of a coordinated, collaborative, non-adversarial process.

The Collaborative Model uses an interest based negotiation approach, rather than an adversarial approach, to resolve conflict. We realize that your entire family is in transition. What was once a whole must be divided into separate homes and each of the homes must strive to be whole individually.

A collaborative divorce encourages each of you to consider your needs as they relate to your family undergoing one of its most difficult life transitions. Determining need, and striving to meet those needs for each of you, is at the heart of a collaborative divorce. “Interest-based negotiation,” is at the heart of the collaborative divorce process.
