The Firehouse Art Center in downtown Longmont is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for emerging film makers to screen their film(s) locally. Artists are invited to submit three short films or one full length feature/documentary for our First Annual Firehouse Films mini-Film Festival on June 28, 29 & 30. {We also have an ongoing open call for our Firehouse Films First Friday series.} All types of submissions are welcome, but we do insist on showing the newest works possible (2010 or later). Each submission should include the duration of the film and a brief synopsis. Submissions are accepted via mail or digitally via email links to Vimeo/YouTube or can be arranged on dropbox. All screenings include a Q&A session with the filmmaker and audience. The Firehouse Art Center can seat approximately 70-80 seated and can hold up to 100-110 standing room only. Email film@firehouseart.org or mail to: Firehouse Art Center 667 Fourth Ave, Longmont, CO 80501.

There is no submission fee and we are hoping to finalize the Film Festival film makers in the next few weeks. We will contact them via email or phone if provided. The schedule is not confirmed yet, but will be Friday evening, most of the day on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening. The timing depends on our submissions. We have a high quality screen and HD projector. We have great speakers and can use DVD's or computer files.
