Michael is currently the CEO of Tetra Insights, a Boulder-based technology startup which builds software that enables customer-centric organizations to better understand their users and make higher-quality data-driven decisions. Tetra's software helps researchers more effectively analyze, collaborate, and share qualitative research, amplifying the magnitude and reach of research work across an organization.
Michael previously co-founded Alpha UX, an enterprise research software company headquartered in NYC that has raised over $15 million in venture funding and employs over 100 people. Prior to that, he founded OptimizeIQ, a digital product consultancy that focused on data-driven innovation.
In his career founding companies and building products over the past 20 years, Michael has launched dozens of new products and services, serving in various functional roles including executive, product manager, web developer, and data analyst. He has worked on product development, research, and data projects for leading global brands, including Citibank, CapitalOne, DirecTV, Google, Pfizer, PwC, Sony Music, Toyota, and Vanguard.
