Pulling from experiences at GetThere (Sabre), the worlds most used white-label corporate travel site - where Caleb led the UX product design team, this talk will introduce you to the concepts, techniques and principals to building the right software that your customers will use and love. Caleb Jenkins is an international speaker, author and 6 time Microsoft MVP award recipient. Recently a keynote speaker at the Tulsa Tech Fest, a featured presenter in Tel Aviv, Israel; Caleb is an entertaining and informative speaker that approaches software from a fresh perspective that spans UX, Agile and enterprise engagements from across the globe. He has previously led UX product design teams, coached multi team agile transformations and architected and mentored at some of the largest companies in the world.
As a long time community leader and former Microsoft Developer Evangelist Caleb is well known for his engaging speaking style, depth of knowledge and creative energy. Some of Caleb’s past endeavors include starting and leading a .NET mentoring and architecture company, Proaction Mentors, working with Travelocity, Sabre, Six Flags Entertainment, American Airlines and Countrywide Mortgage/Bank of America. Caleb currently works as a Senior Manager at Avaya, leading development teams in North America, Ireland and India.
He lives in the Dallas area where he continues to date his beautiful wife and busy himself coaching soccer and playing Xbox with his four incredible children. Occasionally he writes curriculum, speaks at conferences, and write code for random projects.
