*** Please Note: We are meeting on the 3rd Wednesday this month ***
We are thrilled to announce the Christen McLemore will be returning this month for Part 2 of her March talk, "Common Coaching Techniques and Answers We Keep Getting Wrong"! Even if you were unable to attend in March, this talk will still be valuable to you.
This should be another fun, interactive, informative evening with Christen, from which you'll all be able to immediately take these techniques back to your office to utilize to benefit yourselves, your teams, and your organizations.
We look forward to seeing you all!

Title: Common Coaching Techniques and Answers We Keep Getting Wrong (Part 2)
How should teams use Spikes? Which sizing and estimating technique are we teaching? What about dedicated SMs or POs and tasking out stories during Sprint Planning? If there’s more than one coach in the room, you’ll have different advice and opinions. From the team's perspective, sometimes they want options but often they just want a single "right" answer and are frustrated with different answers. In Christen's talk, she will cover a few key areas where coaches disagree on the techniques and share some of her experience when working with multiple coaches that led to a common approach and consistent guidance. With examples and advice in this talk, you will have some common practice ideas to take back to the office and discuss with your fellow coaches.
Christen is a Principle Transformation Consultant with CA Technologies in Denver, CO. After seeing a need for better software at United Airlines reservations, she left to begin her IT career in 1996 as a Business Analyst with Airline Tariff Publishing Company and continued to grow her career in Systems Analysis, Project Management and Program Management at AOL. Christen has over decades of experience in a variety of roles and environments and is passionate about using Agile methods to help guide teams in the implementation of quality products and deliverables that would stand out as successful examples to other teams and encourage Agile practices at an organizational level. She brings a unique combination of coaching at the team, manager and executive levels to reinforce their roles and how they are each responsible for the success of Agile.
