Will the University of Colorado bulldoze the proposed Meadowlark Open Space? On these special wetlands and meadows, located immediately south of Boulder, CU wants to build a 1,000 new apartments that will flood our mtn town with more traffic.
Please join us tomorrow - Wed July 11, 6pm to help protect the Meadowlarks that call this open space home. Wear a green shirt or hat and join us at the Boulder Open Space Board of Trustees Hearing at Boulder City Council Chambers to make your voice heard!
CU is seeking approval to build massive high risk dams to protect the planned building sites. At this hearing we can encourage the Open Space Trustees to protect the open space with modest flood control structures. This will better protect the Boulder communities than tall risky dams that have the potential to fail and engulf homes below.
Please join us Weds July[masked] at 6pm to help save the Meadowlarks! Together we can create a win for the people of Boulder and this wild and beautiful space. Instead of building on open space, CU can build on their existing parking lots!
Thanks so much for being part of this community effort and bring a friend!
