Approximately 8 miles and 1800 feet of elevation gain for some of RMNP's most spectacular scenery. This may be a snowshoe trip depending on the conditions.

This hike is for the fit and acclimated.
You will need a RMNP pass to enter the park, or the cost is $25 per car. There are a number of us with passes, but you may be in a car that has to pay the fee, so be prepared and either way, you should offer you driver money for gas as well as something towards the cost of the pass or entrance fee.
No dogs are allowed on RMNP trails.
Meet at 6:55am at Three Margaritas Parking lot to organize carpool. We leave at 7:00am promptly. If you are driving to trailhead by yourself, meet us at 8:20am at Bear Lake trailhead. We will start hiking promptly at 8:30am so don't be late.
Note if there is parking space available in Glacier Gorge TH, we’ll park there.
Make sure to bring water, snacks, warm layers and microspikes (maybe Snowshoes).
Bad weather postpones/cancels.
