We will gather outside the iron gate at 22nd St. and King Ave. Take the SKIP bus and get off at 27th Way, or park on King.

TYPE: Hike | PACE: Fitness/Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, trail, hills | DISTANCE: Approx. 4 miles |

Walk Description: This Thursday morning 4-mile hike takes us up through the west side of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) campus, to the Kohler Mesa Trail and onto Enchanted Mesa, then down through Bluebell Canyon. We'll have a fun adventure and get some great exercise - a wonderful way to start the day! Here is a link ( to the map for this walk.

Schedule, Transit and Planning: We'll start and end at 22nd St. and King Ave., where King dead ends at a wrought-iron gate to the NIST campus. Plenty of parking on King, or take the SKIP and get off near 27th Way, then walk to meet us.

The Colorado-based Walk2Connect Cooperative works with individuals and organizations to create innovative walking programs focused on connecting to others, to place and to self.
