All too often data architects are brought in to address technical debt after a project has begun to show signs of failure. We’ll look at ways for a data architect to be a proactive, contributing member of an Agile team working towards a common goal using the combination of validDB and erwin DM.

Shawn has spent the last twenty years developing the platform that powers and has built hundreds of database centric applications on the platform across a wide range of domains for organizations large and small.

In this brief session we'll be covering some of the major highlights from the SQL PASS conference that occurred in November 2018 in Seattle, WA.
Topics will include features from the roadmap for SQL Server 2019, Azure, and Power BI. There are amazing things in store.

Osei does BI and Big Data Engineering with Azure, Analysis Services and Power BI. He likes building analytical pipelines to provide new insights. Previously, he developed reporting for mortgage services and a local university and he's vice president of Boulder SQL.
