Entrepreneur Presentation

Ellen Sears spent the last 45+ years as a private investor, venture capitalist, investment banker and Internet serial entrepreneur. During these years I've started, grown and profitably sold three of my own companies as well as funded and worked with many start-up entrepreneurs.

After retiring in 2004 and moving to Boulder Colorado, I began trading futures in 2010.

Startup Entrepreneur Pitch

Christopher G. Prince is a former University of Minnesota Duluth computer science professor. Chris received his BS in computer science from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, his MA in psychology from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Unofficially, this Ph.D. was in cognitive science, and was split between psychology and computer science. Chris studied dolphins in Hawaii and chimpanzees and rats in Louisiana. Chris was born in Prince Rupert, BC, Canada, and completed high school in Sooke, BC, Canada. He became a Canadian-American citizen in 2012. In 2013, he moved from Duluth, MN to Louisville, CO, got married, and founded Spastic Muffin, LLC.

Brief Statement About Company:

Spastic Muffin does software contracting and app development in the Boulder, Colorado area. We build apps for others and build apps of our own. Our main app is Petunia Pet Records ( http://www.GetPetunia.com ), an iPad app that enables pet owners to record and share their pet health information. This app is important to us because we are animal lovers. The company owner and his wife (who leads the graphic design of Petunia) are cat people. Our vision is to develop Petunia to include iPhone, Android (phones and tablets), and a web portal, and to market it to have it become the leading pet health records app for pet owners.

Other goals and values of our company include:

• Responding to each and every customer inquiry we receive, and incorporating customer feedback into our products and procedures.

• Growing our company but making sure to take care of our customers.

• Slow software user interface changes. We want to make it easy for customers to use our next software version.

• Doing our best to let users access their data in the long-term. We understand the frustration of losing data or not being able to access data if you change software.
