One thought I have is to charge an extra buck for those that do attend a show via this group. Another option is just have a happy hour once a month and charge 2 bucks to attend - a sort of on-going fund raiser. It might be a fun - and cheap - way to get to know more folks with similar musical interests who can't get to all the shows (like me, who has a 4 year old and VERY limited child care!) . I'd be more than happy to help with the happy hour organizing, since you are so busy with the rest.
I have not been to anything, yet - but do hate to see it go due to the rest of us lame-o's who do'nt pitch in our $$ to help!!!!!!!!

Wow, I didn't expect anyone to really object to the group ending. I can definitely try to keep it going for a little while, but I will need some help financially to keep it going. I really hate to ask since I know you all spend money to go to the concert, but maybe a couple of dollars once every billing cycle would really help, if no one minds? For example, next time you go to a meet-up, you can donate $2 that will be good for 3 months.
Side note: if you want to go to a show that seems popular, get your tickets in advanced!! I missed out on Phoenix and I'm totally gutted about it! :(
As always, ideas and feed-back always welcome
