Hidden Passage Trail meanders 7.8 miles through the hardwood forest and features several miles of sandstone bluff lines, rock shelters, a natural arch, and Crystal Falls. This trail also provides access to Double Falls and Tunnel Trails which we will explore as time allows.

We'll hike roughly 4 miles in on Saturday and camp near Double Falls. We'll hike 4 miles out Sunday morning. The trail is relatively flat with minimal elevation change.

This is a good beginners backpacking trip! Experienced backpackers are encouraged to attend and share your knowledge. If you have any questions about your ability to do this hike or the equipment you need, please contact me. You will need a tent or hammock, sleeping bag and pad, food for dinner and breakfast, water, and a pack to carry it in.

We will learn how to filter water and hang a bear bag!

Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.

We will carpool from the Glasgow Wal-Mart parking lot at 11:00 a.m. central time or you can meet us at the Pickett State Park Office, 4605 Pickett Park Highway, Jamestown, TN 38556 at 1:30 p.m. central time. Please indicate in the comments below where you will be meeting us.

We will also plan a day hike on Sunday - details soon to follow.
