My name is Santiago and I was born and raised in San Jose, Ca. I have been involved with health and wellness for over 10 years. It all started when I was a freshman in high school and my mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat cancer and decided to live a healthier lifestyle. She became a gym member and brought me along with her. Through my mother's motivation, I fell in love with weightlifting and sports. I participated in track, basketball, football and soccer throughout my high school years. As a senior, I was introduced to boxing and it became my new passion. I've had a few amateur fights and I'm looking forward to competed soon. I have been educating myself on how to always improve and to be the best version of myself so I can be fit for service. I look forward to sharing my passion and to serve my community .

Workout:

I have over 10 years of experience in athletic, functional and corrective training. My goal is to always educate my clients and give them confidence to try new things on their own. I also have experience in a collegiate athletic training atmosphere. I believe in the mind and body working towards longevity when choosing to be active and healthy. I incorporate meditation and yoga into my workouts. My goal is for every client to walk out feeling the best version of themselves. Lastly, I specialize in athletes, boxing, kickboxing, mma, weight lifting, yoga, meditation, hit training, rehabilitation and corrective fitness.

Certifications:

National Council of Sport and Fitness Personal Training Certified, TRX Functional Certified Instructor, Sprint 8 Hiit Certified Instructor, Foothill College, Certificate of Achievement Personal Trainer and ISSA Nutrition Certified.

Saturday class:

Boxing gloves are required! High intensity class that goes over basics, combos and techniques. You’ll be working with a partner and using boxing mitts. Class is absolutely free! If you have any extra mitts or thai pads please bring! Bring water and some sunscreen as will we be working out outside

Cardio Kickboxing

First Class is free! This a 1 hr class for 4 people. First come first serve. It is a high intensity fitness class that combines martial arts technique with fast-paced cardio. It involves combinations on the heavy bag, partner drills with Thai pads and mitts, calisthenic exercises and occasionally running. We finish with core exercises and stretching. This class offers a plethora of benefits including: weight loss, muscle toning, flexibility, endurance, stress relief and self-defense. According to the American Council on Exercise, these classes can burn between[masked] calories an hour. These workouts are guaranteed to burn calories and build lean muscle all while having fun!!

This is a 1 hour class that includes a warm up, workout of the day, cardio and cool down. First class is free! "Workout of the day" by day: Monday: Leg day Tuesday: Chest and Tricep Wednesday: Cardio Thursday: Back and Bicep Friday: Shoulder Every day we'll start with a warm up and do our "workout of the day," followed by cardio and finishing with a cool down. This a 1 hr class for 4 people. First come first serve.

Total Body Conditioning

Self Made

Muscle building and weight loss program. Maximize your strength-building potential and your time at the gym with this head-to-toe workout. The effectiveness of this program is that you allow yourself to train hard and only 3 days a week. This type of programming allows most to optimally recover between training sessions. First class is free.
