BCA Monthly Meeting this Coming Tuesday: It's going to be good

A former member
Hi All,

I'm writing to invite you to the Bozeman Climate Alliance's next monthly meeting, this coming Tuesday (July 24) at 7pm in the Public Library's big meeting room.

In recent months our group has built a strong head of steam, and along with that we've built up a laundry list of excellent opportunities for Bozemanites to participate directly in combating climate change.

Our meeting will focus on these opportunities. We're determined to turn our strong start into something stronger. Climate Change can't be a spectator sport. We're in a race against time and the stakes are nosebleed high, higher than most of us who don't follow the research realize.

We can't succeed unless more of us tranform from bystanders to participants and leaders. If you're concerned about climate change, there's no better way to turn worry into resolve and joy than to start acting. An ancillary benefit is that you'll get to know all the caring, thoughtful people who are banding together around the issue in Bozeman

The meeting will cover the following:

  • Special Presentation by Kerry Fee of Livingston's Park Country Environmental Council about the coming of Fracking in the region.
  • Discussion of the Bozeman's Role in Montana Coal Export and the rail lines issue.
  • Discussion of the upcoming Coal Export Action in Helena
  • Discussion of the Nascent Bozeman Climate Speaker's Bureau
  • Coal Dust Photo Project for MEIC

In each of these discussions will present existing opportunities to act, discuss new ones, and make commitments for following through.

Please come out and bring friends. We're a fantastic group and there's a good chance you'll come away from the meeting invigorated.
