Brain Food: TEDxYouth@Caltech

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@Caltech, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxYouth is an immersive experience for the younger generation — on stage and off. In keeping with the spirit of TED conferences, our diverse group of speakers are asked to give the "talk of their lifetime," sharing with the audience their exciting discoveries, talents, and dreams.

For the list of speakers and other event details, visit:

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m*. We encourage you to arrive no later than 10:00 a.m., allowing enough time for registration and mingling. TEDxYouth@Caltech is scheduled down to the minute. The best moments can happen when you least expect them. It’s often the unknown speakers who wow the crowd. So come on time and don’t miss a thing!
*Start times may change as the date approaches.

Lunch will be provided between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., during the break between the first and second session of the event. It is important to attend both sessions, since there will be surprises throughout the event!

$ 5 Students (Grades 6 – 12)
$25 Adults
