Is gaining weight over the holidays a recurring problem? Are you fighting with weight, belly-fat, loss of energy and being run-down? Worse, do you have health issues and find it hard to get through normal activities? This is a free workshop to introduce the concept of "Mad-Body Mountain", help you discover if you are on it, and how to get back to "Sexy, Lean and Strong Valley". We will look at the reasons we gain weight over the holidays, how to manage all the temptation and crazy schedule, and, maybe even get so good at it we can lose weight between December 3 and January 15!!
We will go over foods and habits that put us on "Mad-Body Mountain", experience a Yoga-lates (combination of Yoga and Pilates -- for beginners) demo, try some simple-to-prepare healthy snacks and meals. We will also look at the importance of staying detoxed and keeping our livers and digestive systems healthy. Special topic for today: Stop Holiday Weight Gain!
Nutrition and health questions and concerns will be addressed in a confidential manner, by a Certified Integrative Health Coach.
For the workshop, come dressed comfortably, and bring a towel or yoga mat if you want to try the exercises.
