What we're about

The purpose of this meetup is to explore each other's works-in-progress in a workshop setting of reading with critique for authors of all experience levels. Receiving insightful, supportive and constructive critique is helpful if you aspire to really connect with people through your writing.

We meet every other Saturday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM in the Conference Room at the Brentwood Public Library. There is a maximum of 12 slots available for each session and we read in the order reservations are received.

MARKETING & PLOT / CHARACTER Development WORKSHOP

We will discuss our marketing endeavors and strategies.

We will critique our plot outlines to evaluate and get feedback on plot structure, themes, flow, and pacing.

We will evaluate the characters for arcs, motivations, impact, and plausibility.
