DISCLOSURE: THIS IS A VOLUNTEER EVENT, NOT AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT.
Generations began as a Black History workshop for Black Brothers Esteem (BBE) to mark Black History Month and has grown into a multi-media celebration of African-American LGBTIQQ history and culture. It features art, music and performances by local Bay Area African-American artists. Additionally, there will be food, and the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the Women’s Community Clinic will be on hand to do free HIV/STI testing.
The Bridgemen are honored once again to partner with BBE to help put on this year’s event. We will assist with food prep, set-up and serving and may also assist with event break-down and various other duties to ensure the event runs smoothly. There should also be plenty of time for Bridgemen to enjoy the event as well. It promises to be an amazing evening!
Please wear a Bridgemen T-shirt if you have one. If you don’t yet have a Bridgemen T-shirt, please tell Alex your T-shirt size BEFORE NOON, 02/22/19, so that I know to bring one for you. Please note that supply is limited, and your size may no longer be available.
If you have questions about this event, please contact Bridgemen Coordinator Alex Ray here on Meetup, by email at [masked] or by cell phone at[masked]
