What we're about

I'm Jay. I've been brave (or stupid) enough to sign up for the 1000 mile walking challenge for 2019. I'm unfit, unsure and happy to give it a go.......what have I got to lose...... my friend Jill has decided to join me on my Journey

Jill was a former fitness fanatic who used to find fitness easy as it was part of her job. But since becoming chronically ill staying active is a challenge but more important to find the right kind of exercise and support to maintain a better quality of life.

The inspiration behind us creating a Meetup group was to find likeminded individuals who fancy doing some light, easy walks with a supportive community.

What we would like to be able to achieve as part of those walks is:-

Feeling good (fitness and health)
Connections
Friendship
Conversation
Judgement free
Encouragement
Over come barriers
Inspiring each other along the way

Most importantly Support and Trust........

And if that all sounds a bit serious, don't worry we never take ourselves seriously

As they say the journey of 1000 miles starts with the first step and we are stepping out if you would like to join us.

This is the Facebook link for those of him that wish to join. https://www.facebook.com/groups/283996335631324/
