What we're about

This is a meet up for comedy lovers. We will get together to go watch stand up gigs in Brighton, mostly new act nights and occasionally bigger comedians. I run Brighton Comedy course, so as well as teaching stand up, I compere gigs in and around Brighton. I will also post info on comedy courses coming up (usually 2 a year.) I love meeting new people and think I'm quite good at introducing people to each other too. Hopefully we'll get some friendships going. We can chat before, at interval and maybe after the gigs. Lets have some laughs.

Always happy to find out what comedy gigs or events you want to go to, so please always message. Also always glad to have members step-up to help organise events and host, so get in touch.

Regular comedy nights happen in the Windmill Pub, Upper North Street and The Hartington Pub, off Lewes Road.

All the testimonies below and more can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Brightoncomedycourse/ I absolutely LOVED doing this course. I talked about doing something like this for years and finally took the plunge. Louise is a brilliant tutor, and I met some great people too. Our graduation gig was the best buzz I’ve ever had (raving years included!) So whether you want to do something out of your comfort zone, want to be a stand up comedian or just want to learn how to be a much better public speaker, just do it! Thank you Louise, it was epic.
