We've had some nice evenings (and Sunday lunches) at The Hampton but haven't visited in an evening for a while. I think it's time to give it another try!
The Hampton is very untouristy, given that it's so close to Western Road. It's a locals' pub with a welcoming atmosphere and good (not too loud) background music!
The menu is not overly long but offers something for everyone. They also have a specials board. To see the menu and to learn a bit more about The Hampton, visit: www.drinkinbrighton.co.uk/hampton
The nearest bus stop is Waitrose - just walk up Hampton Place and turn right. The pub is just a block to the north of Western Road.
It might be a bit early butThe Hampton also has a pleasant courtyard garden if we're lucky with the weather!
